Characteristics of PROCAM

The main objective of PROCAM is to train interdisciplinary and innovative researchers and professionals capable of addressing socio-environmental issues from both academic and societal perspectives.

It provides a space for reflection and integration of various fields of knowledge in the pursuit of understanding the relationship between economic, social, political, ecological, and physical phenomena and the key contemporary environmental challenges, from the local to the global level, resulting in implications for teaching, research, and contributions to public policies and interventions in reality.

Over its more than thirty years of existence, PROCAM has matured and established an academic structure that has expanded and strengthened interdisciplinary lines of teaching and research in its multiple approaches, perspectives, and connections.
